VW tailgate 4-bike rack for T6/T6.1 Transporter (Silver)
The Volkswagen Genuine bicycle carrier is made from anodised aluminium and is delivered assembled, enabling quick and easily installation.
The intelligent design means that you can still open the tailgate, even if the carrier is mounted (without bicycles).

The rack is designed to fit to the tailgate of 2015 onward models in a very simple and innovative manner; The holder simply grips the edge of the tailgate in four places, making for a very sturdy fit. The bike rack is mounted on four rubber feet so that the vehicle paint is protected.
With the ability to carry up to four adult sized bikes (max payload of 60kg), this genuine bicycle holder is the perfect accessory for when travelling with friends or family. Designed to work around you, the holder does not prohibit the opening of the tailgate, and allows the van to be used as normal when the bikes are removed from the rack.

Description
Please note:
- If the vehicle is not a California, you will need to check the label on the gas struts. If it says either 7E0827550B (900N) or 7E0827550C (985N) the struts will need upgrading. We recommend 1270N gas struts).
- Please retain the old gas struts, it is recommended to convert back to these if the bicycle carrier is not being used – this will reduce the amount of force required to close the tailgate
