Designed, engineered and tested by CJL, the front elevating HUP roof for MWB VW Crafter / MAN TGE 2017> is:

• Fabricated using high quality fibreglass infusion technology with silicone membrane to ensure a super strong yet lightweight roof
• Specifically engineered to overcome common failure issues found on other roofs

• Visually appealing design – modern front cowl with shark’s fin aerial cover, roof lines echo the bonnet lines, sleek side view.
• Class-leading 180-degree panoramic curved canvas offers outstanding views – with 180-degree zip-in all-weather window, interior storage pockets, and self-closing rear section.
• Closer-to-body awning mounts to improve aerodynamics and visual appeal
• Same aero cross-sectional area as the factory high roof to improve aerodynamics and reduce wind noise
• Fitting a Hup eliminates roof twist / sideways movement due to rear anti-sway gas struts and durable hardware. This means it can safely be used in windy/ stormy weather.
• The fibreglass roof serves strictly as a weather-insulating skin. Unlike other roofs, all mounting points and hinges on the HUP bolt directly to the vehicle’s factory metal roof gutter using bespoke aluminium plates. This improves longevity and reduces common failures and provides great adjustability.
• Industry standard front cowl seal damage and alignment issues have been eradicated via a curved CAD-engineered interface.
• Kinetic cable protection for all roof electrics in a designed channel
• Solar panel recess comes as standard, designed into the roof
• Much more visible natural light due to the option of a 700 x 500mm skylight. (Most roofs offer 400 x 400mm)
• A central access hatch allows symmetry across the van and aids conversion
• Suitable for High roof (standard) vehicles 2017>. Not suitable for Low roof or vehicles built prior to 2017.
